Andrea is the fourth of six children born to Agnes Fekete and the late architect Leslie Fekete. She was educated at the Ontario College of Art for illustration and attended Sheridan College for animation. Andrea has been drawing since she was old enough to hold a pencil. She was encouraged in her early years by her father who was always ready to hand her blank paper, pencils and to hang her drawings up on the wall. Her love of figure drawing began when she discovered pattern catalogues with figure drawings. At a young age she would draw from the catalogues to practice drawing fashion figures and clothes. She has tried many mediums over the years: pastels, colored pencils, oils, watercolors and in recent years discovered her favorite medium the airbrush. Andrea's work today involves the use of a combination of drawing programs and digital pens. Andrea has undergone many artistic changes over the years and continues to do so today as she further experiments with new brushes and drawing techniques.

Recently, Andrea's work has been featured on the cover of books such as "Stuck in Downward Dog", and "Target Underwear and a Vera Wang Gown". She has contributed to many websites around the world with illustration and done a variety of illustration projects for print including presentation boards, editorials, character designs, and the illustration of three children's books.
